Company Information: Southside Wrecker Service has been serving the Metro Atlanta area for over thirty years. We are very proud of our modern fleet and nationally certified operators who regularly attend ongoing training classes. In 2009 Southside Wrecker expanded its operations by opening a second location in Newnan, Georgia so that we could better service our growing customer base in that area.
All of our drivers receive call info through our state of the art digital dispatching and call tracking system. Every truck is equipped with a GPS tracking system which assists our dispatch team in making sure the closest truck to your location is sent insuring the quickest response time possible.
Southside's tow operators must pass a pre-employment drug test and police background check. They also undergo random drug testing throughout the year adhering to strict USDOT guidelines. You can always be confident that whoever arrives to your location is not only friendly and knowledgable but also trustworthy and safe.
Southside Wrecker offers many services in addition to towing broke down cars. We have a fleet of heavy and ultra-heavy duty towing and recovery units, a 48' equipment transport trailer, tandem road tractor and a fully equipped heavy support trailer to assist in debris clean up, rigging, and remediation of motor fluid spills.
Southside's Heavy Recovery Team is among the best in the industry. All operators are State Certified Heavy Recovery Operators and WreckMaster Certified. Our recovery units are rated to be able to lift up to fifty tons. Whether it's a winch out, overturned unit or just a heavy lift we have the proper equipment, training and experience to complete the task safely and professionally.
Our fleet carries $1,000,000.00 in liability insurance coverage and we are permitted to run in all nine southeastern states. If your needs take us beyond the southeast we can typically have the additional permits needed within hours.
